Safe tests with a high risk of collision

We conduct scenarios according to the methodology of Regulation (EU) 2022/1426, which cannot be safely performed with in-house resources. Should a risk materialize, the vehicle will collide without sustaining damage with a standard-compliant pedestrian or vehicle dummy, rather than a real human.

The exact limits of your technology’s capabilities

We repeat the exact same test and slightly change only one parameter each time, such as speed or detection distance. This reveals the precise limits of your system’s decision-making capability and safety, which cannot be measured as accurately on your own.

Engineer involvement in the tests

Repetitions show whether the system makes the same decision every time in the same situation. Your engineers can observe this directly, as the mobile laboratory comes to you and they can be present during the tests.

Mobile field testing laboratory

• 2 ADAS platforms with a range of up to 1.5 km and a test object speed of up to 100 km/h.
• Models and dummies: child pedestrian, adult pedestrian, goat, cyclist, motorcyclist, passenger car, etc.
• Measurement system for the vehicle under test and up to four additional participants.

Proof of product conformity

• Testing of ADS and remote control systems as a complete solution.
• Separate testing of subsystems and components.
• Testing methodology based on Regulation (EU) 2022/1426.

Preparation for certification

• Training and consultation in the ADS certification process.
• Descriptions of ADS and its functions as input for certification.

Test and pilot drives in Estonia

• Private 150 × 300 m proving ground for scenario tests.

• 3D-scanned road network as a base map, plus accurate road and weather forecasts with real-time short-term alerts.
