Metrosert participated in the Creative Destruction Lab mentorship program: supporting science-based startups
On Monday, November 18th, the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) mentorship program was launched, aimed at supporting science-intensive startups. Metrosert participated in the Estonian chapter, which focuses on helping startups in the digital society, e-health, and defense sectors achieve rapid growth.
Kalev Kaarna, Project Manager of Metrosert’s Sales Division, participated as a mentor alongside 40 other experts, assisting 20 startups in setting measurable and ambitious goals for the next eight weeks. “At CDL, mentors are top scientists, successful entrepreneurs, and investors. They have been where the startups are now. They can help save 2-6 months of time and prevent costly mistakes with their knowledge and networks,” said Kaarna.
The Creative Destruction Lab is the world’s largest growth program for science-based startups, with alumni companies valued at over 33 billion euros. The program lasts nine months and provides participating companies with regular feedback and guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and investors. Metrosert’s participation in the program will help strengthen the company’s position in innovation and technology, creating new collaboration opportunities, particularly in the Nordic and Baltic regions, as well as in the wider European and U.S. startup ecosystems.
