Metrosert’s health data team helps scientific ideas reach practice swiftly and securely, supporting companies, universities, and research institutions with practical knowledge and applied solutions – from measurement standardisation to faster data analysis.
We focus on improving the quality and usability of health data and are an active member of the Tehnopol HealthTech community. Our goal is to bring scientific data from the lab into real life – quickly, safely, and in line with international standards.
The health data field at Metrosert is led by Janne Pullat, who is driving efforts to consolidate data dispersed across various databases, transform it into structured and secure formats, and make it accessible for use. This work lays a strong foundation for the development and implementation of science-based health technologies.
Metrosert supports the validation of health technologies, including the evaluation of AI-based solutions. Our work helps developers – especially startups – meet both local and international requirements without having to go through resource-intensive clinical trials. The goal is to accelerate the time-to-market of innovative solutions and improve their accessibility.
Additionally, we contribute to the development of regulatory pathways and tools aligned with the European Health Data Space (EHDS) requirements. This strengthens Estonia’s position as a trusted and innovative environment for health tech development and opens up new opportunities for international collaboration.
Metrosert’s health data team includes, alongside Janne, data scientist Pankaj Chejara and senior researcher Anders Eriksson. Their collaboration results in solutions that combine technological expertise with regulatory insight, enabling better integration, analysis, and validation of health data.
Our vision is to establish Estonia as an internationally recognised development environment where researchers and companies can test and implement new health technologies. In doing so, Metrosert supports the growth of the health tech ecosystem and helps science-based solutions reach patients faster and more safely.
