Calibration and verification

CALIBRATION

Metrosert calibrates pressure measuring instruments in the range of -96 kPa to 140 MPa. Air, oil, water or nitrogen is used as the working environment.

Metrosert’s pressure calibration capability has also been approved as the Estonian reference standard.

MEASUREMENTS

Metrosert provides the inspection of pressure relief valves and pressure relays; the measurement of pressure in hydraulic and pneumatic systems; the measurement of the metrological parameters of autoclaves.

TRACEABILITY

Pressure measurements are traceable to the mass measurement standard of the Estonian National Measurement Standard Laboratory, the length measurement standard of the Estonian National Measurement Standard Laboratory, the pressure standard of the Finnish national measurement standard laboratory VTT Mikes and the pressure standard of the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI).
