Metrosert Named as Finalist for Automotive Testing Technology International Awards 2026

Metrosert has been nominated as a finalist for the international automotive industry award with its mobile autonomous vehicle testing laboratory concept.

Each year, the Automotive Testing Technology International Awards recognize the world’s most outstanding testing infrastructures, simulation solutions, and testing technologies driving development in the automotive and mobility sectors.

Metrosert’s mobile autonomous vehicle testing laboratory has been selected as a finalist for the international Automotive Testing Technology International (ATTI) Awards 2026 in the “Facility of the Year” category.

Metrosert’s mobile test facility makes it possible to bring the testing of autonomous vehicles and systems directly into their development or operational environments. This allows for the evaluation of their performance in various traffic scenarios—including potentially hazardous situations—without the risk of damaging the test vehicle.

“The novelty of Metrosert’s mobile facility lies in its mobility, meaning we can conduct tests in any location suitable for the client, thereby ensuring the most optimal environment and resource savings for the company. It is most practical to test certain types of self-driving vehicle control technologies primarily in the vehicle’s future operational environment, which is precisely what this mobile facility enables. For the autonomous vehicles unit, being nominated alongside the industry’s biggest names is a high recognition and motivation for the future,” said Taaniel Tigas, Head of the Autonomous Vehicles Unit.

The winners of the awards will be announced on June 24 at the Automotive Testing Expo Europe in Stuttgart, Germany.
