On November 20, we had the pleasure of welcoming a distinguished delegation from the Danish National Defence Technology Center. The visit focused on cybersecurity, developments in quantum technology and emerging defence-industry solutions in the field of drone technologies.
Our Head of Research and Development Division, Mari Aru, and Quantum Technology Coordinator, Nataly Dubbelman, provided an overview of Metrosert’s ongoing work in the quantum domain. Metrosert coordinates matters related to the development of the quantum technology sector and carries out various research and development projects, such as Estonia’s quantum communication project EstQCI.
Rainer Kivimäe, Head of the Drone Technologies Unit at Metrosert’s Applied Research Center, introduced the laboratories and research directions being established in Estonia, forming a unique competence center in our region.
We thank our Danish colleagues for their visit and the highly engaging discussions. We look forward to further international cooperation!
