Digitalization Masterclass Refined Certification Service Processes

The Digitalization Masterclass program, organized by the joint institution of EAS and KredEx for Estonian companies, concluded meaningfully on February 20 after nearly 3.5 months.

The Metrosert team participated in the program with the goal of refining certification service processes. Project manager Maidu Targama summarizes the work done as follows:

“Certification services have an ambitious goal to increase service sales, but this growth must come with existing resources. Thus, with the help of the EAS program, we focused on processes where our tools and activities could reduce the volume of administrative work and concentrate on offering certification services to new clients. We found that the key is automation, leveraging digital technologies, integrating customer management software, and a general desire to improve things. For instance, we plan to use MS Power Automate for document interaction, track the status of automated flows using the sales and customer management program Pipedrive, and better plan our core activities – certification services. In the future, certificates might be confirmed with a digital stamp.

The program was very well managed and helped us focus. We are grateful to our mentor Raul Varrak and the entire program team for their excellent organization and support.”

The Metrosert project team included IT project manager Maidu Targama, IT manager Jaanus Vahi, and certification division quality and development specialist Kristiina Treter. A total of 20 different companies participated in the program.
