Calibration and verification

CALIBRATION OF TEMPERATURE MEASURING INSTRUMENTS

Metrosert calibrates thermometers and temperature sensors in the temperature range of (-95 to +700) °C, refrigerators, thermal chambers and ovens in the range of (-95 to +1100) °C, thermocouples up to the temperature of 1100 °C.

Common measuring instruments that we calibrate:

• Platinum resistance thermometers

• Digital thermometers

• Infrared thermometers and thermal cameras
• Temperature loggers and recorders
• Temperature calibrators
• Ovens, thermal chambers and cabinets
• Cold chambers, refrigerating rooms and refrigerators

MEASUREMENTS

We provide the testing of autoclaves and sterilisers through the measurement of metrological parameters – temperature and pressure. We also perform the periodic compliance testing of temperature recorders and thermometers for measuring the ambient or internal temperature for the transport, storage and distribution of temperature sensitive goods. We measure the parameters of temperature-sensitive relays. We measure both ambient and surface temperature, if necessary.

TRACEABILITY

Temperature measurements in the range of (-196 to +420) °C are traceable to the temperature measurement standard of the Estonian National Measurement Standard Laboratory.
Temperature measurements in the range of (+420 to +1100) °C are traceable to the standard of the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI).

CALIBRATION OF TEMPERATURE MEASURING INSTRUMENTS AT THE NATIONAL MEASUREMENT STANDARD LABORATORY

Temperature measuring instruments in the international temperature scale ITS-90 range of (-196 to +420)°C are calibrated by the laboratory of the national measurement standard of temperature with the measurement uncertainty of 1mK to 0,08K.
