Calibration

Metrosert calibrates water meters as well as meters used for measuring the volume of other liquids.

Common measuring instruments that we calibrate:

• Mechanical, inductance and ultrasound based water meters
• Fuel, milk, alcohol and other liquid meters and metering systems

Verification

Metrosert verifies cold and hot water meters, thermal energy meters, fuel dispensers and liquid measuring systems.

Traceability

• Mass measurements are traceable to the mass measurement standard of the Estonian National Measurement Standard Laboratory.
• Temperature measurements are traceable to the temperature measurement standard of the Estonian National Measurement Standard Laboratory.
• Pressure measurements are traceable to the pressure measurement standards of the Finnish national measurement standard laboratory VTT Mikes.
• Time interval and frequency measurements are traceable to the UTC time scale.
