Metrosert, the Estonian Central Metrology Authority and the Centre for Applied Research, has launched two new scholarship programmes for TalTech students, channelling funding into hydrogen technology and autonomous vehicles. The hydrogen technology scholarship for Master’s students is €3000, and the student formula scholarship for Bachelor’s and Master’s students is €2000 or €3000 respectively.
“We are pleased with the smooth start of the cooperation with TalTech and the greater than expected popularity of the scholarship programmes among students. We are actively looking for and wish to support the new generation of technology professionals who will help Estonia stay at the forefront of technological innovation,” said Aigar Vaigu, Chairman of the Board of Metrosert.
The scholarship winners will be announced by the end of November, after which the scholarships will be awarded in cooperation with Taltech. The finalists are students whose interests or theses most closely match the focus areas of the Centre for Applied Research.
