Newcomer of the Year
Introducing our new employee of the year! Helina Pajussaar, Head of People and Work Culture, who joined Metrosert in January 2024, has already made a significant contribution to employee well-being and work culture in her short time with the company. Under her leadership, a record number of recruitments have taken place and she has played a key role in making Metrosert more visible and attractive.

Brand Ambassador of the Year
The Brand Ambassador of the Year award went to Kristjan Tammik, Researcher and Curator, who celebrated 20 years of service at Metrosert last year. Kristjan stands out for his enthusiastic approach to metrology and is a dedicated promoter of Metrosert and his field. In addition to his day-to-day work, he conducts laboratory tours, participates in scientific competitions and writes exciting articles, inspiring colleagues and everyone else.

Achievement of the Year
The title of ‘Achievement of the Year’ was awarded to the team from the Metrology Division’s (MTD) Tartu laboratory, led by metrologist Martin Kangro. The Tartu lab’s achievement was the significant automation of the temperature calibration process, which now allows measurements to be carried out outside normal working hours, including at night (pictured receiving the award from the team is Armin Zoo, head of the Tartu lab).

Congratulations to the Metrosert Employees of the Year!
