A Date Mark indicates the year of manufacture of the article of precious metal. A Date Mark is voluntary additional mark..
The Date letters are the capital letters of the Estonian alphabet in the alphabetical order. The Date Marks are established by the Regulation No. 46 of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications of 22 March 2004 “Establishment of Date Letters for Articles of Precious Metals” (RTL, 29.03.2004, 30, 510).
The date letters, by year, shall be the following:
