CALIBRATION OF MEASURING INSTRUMENTS THAT MEASURE TEMPERATURE
AS Metrosert calibrates thermometers and temperature sensors in the temperature range of (-80…+700) °C, refrigerators, thermal cabinets and ovens in the temperature range of (-80…+1100) °C, thermocouples up to 1100 °C.
The most common calibrated measuring instruments are:
- platinum resistance thermometers;
- glass thermometers;
- digital thermometers;
- infrared thermometers and thermal cameras;
- temperature data loggers and displaying measuring instruments;
- temperature calibrators;
- stoves, thermal chambers and cabinets;
- cold chambers, refrigerating rooms and refrigerators.
We offer testing of autoclaves and sterilisers via environmental metrological parameters – temperature and pressure measurement. We also carry out periodic compliance verification of temperature displaying measuring instruments and thermometers used when transporting and storing chilled and frozen food.
If necessary, we measure the environment as well as surface temperature.
The measurements of temperature in the range of (-80…+420) °C are traceable to the measurement standard of the Estonian national measurement standard laboratory.
The measurements of temperature in the range of (+420…+1100) °C are traceable to the measurement standard of CMI (Czech metrology authority).
CALIBRATION OF MEASURING INSTRUMENTS THAT MEASURE TEMPERATURE IN THE NATIONAL MEASUREMENT STANDARD LABORATORY
Measuring instruments that measure temperature in the range of (-80…+420) °C according to an international temperature scale ITS-90, with measurement uncertainty of 1 mK…0.16 K are calibrated by the national temperature measurement standard laboratory.
